- Continued removals of existing infrastructure on Beach Drive, including pulverizing the asphalt of Beach Drive from Spruce Street to 2nd Street
- Dewatering operations continue, to improve ground conditions for the storm pipe installation
- Storm sewer pipe installation continued on Main Street
- Commenced engineered fill placement on Beach Drive

Fire Ban in Effect – Wasaga Beach As of July 30, 2025, the Town of Wasaga Beach has implemented a Fire Ban. This will remain in place until sufficient rainfall occurs and the notice is removed from the Wasaga Beach Fire Department website. During a Fire Ban, all outdoor burning of solid fuels is strictly prohibited — including campfires and bonfires (even if using chimeneas or similar enclosed devices) Fire bans are implemented to protect our community and reduce the risk of accidental fires....

Work Completed This Week
- Continued removals of existing infrastructure on Beach Drive
- The dewatering operations continue to improve ground conditions, for the storm pipe installation
- The crew began storm sewer pipe installation from the storm outlet to Spruce Street
- We removed the existing sheet pile wall along Beach Drive
- Infrastructure Investigation continued throughout project limits

🔥 FIRE BAN IN EFFECT 🔥

Due to continued dry conditions, the Town of Wasaga Beach has increased the Fire Danger Rating to Extreme and declared a Fire Ban effective July 30, 2025. This ban will remain in effect until conditions improve, and the notice is removed from the Town website.
What the Fire Ban Means:
❌ No outdoor burning of solid fuels (e.g., campfires, bonfires - even in enclosed devices like chimineas)
❌ No fireworks

Work Completed This Week
- Installation of hoarding fence was completed along Beach Drive, from Spruce Street to 2nd Street
- Watermain work occurred on Main Street to facilitate upcoming pipe works
- Continued removals of existing infrastructure on Beach Drive Crews have installed floating barriers in the river, designed to manage silt and sediment, at the storm outlet.
