Statement by Mayor Smith on the Potential for a Large Retailer to Bring Jobs to Wasaga Beach
The Town has met with representatives from a large retailer and the owner of the lands at Lyons Court and Ramblewood. An application for pre-consultation has been submitted to the Town, and Town staff are working through the development approvals process with the applicant. Despite the rumours, it is premature to make any formal announcements about the project at this time. The large retailer is conducting its due diligence with the assistance of the Town. As more information becomes available, it will be shared with the community.
