Notice of Public Meeting to Consider Updated Building Permit Fees and Planning Fees

TAKE NOTICE that the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Wasaga Beach will hold a Public Meeting on March 12, 2026, at 9:00 A.M. in the Council Chambers located at the Town Hall, 30 Lewis Street, Wasaga Beach.  

THE PURPOSE of the Public Meeting is to obtain public comments on a proposed increase to the Town of Wasaga Beach’s existing building permit fees, and is being held pursuant to Section 7 of the Building Code Act, 1992.

The Public Meeting will also allow for public comments on proposed changes to the planning fees.

A REPORT outlining the changes and the rationale for the proposed changes will be available to the public at the Public Meeting and online at no cost.

THE PROPOSED fee changes will be considered by Council on March 26, 2026.

ANY PERSON may attend the Public Meeting, and make oral and/or written submissions either in support of or in opposition to the proposed fee increase/changes.

If you wish to make oral submissions virtually, please register with the Deputy Clerk at deputyclerk@wasagabeach.com  no later than noon on March 11, 2026.

IF YOU WISH to be notified of the adoption of the proposed fee changes, you must make a written request to the Clerk of the Town of Wasaga Beach at clerk@wasagabeach.com.
