Notice of Construction: Schoonertown Bridge Expansion Joint Seal Replacement

Please be advised that the contract for the Schoonertown Bridge Expansion Joint Seal Replacement
is scheduled to commence November 2, 2026, weather permitting.

The work will generally include removal of the existing seals, cleaning of the expansion joints and
installation of new seals. Through traffic is expected to be maintained with only short duration lane
reductions being required. Every effort will be made to keep the traffic impacts to a minimum. The work
is anticipated to be complete within one to two weeks; however, this is weather dependant.

We ask that extra precaution be taken and that you observe all construction and advisory signage
during this work. We also appreciate your patience during this vital maintenance to the Town’s
infrastructure.
