Notice of Construction: Hwy 92 Asphalt Resurfacing

Hwy #92 – Village Gate Drive to Town Limit – Asphalt Resurfacing

Please be advised that the asphalt resurfacing of Hwy #92 from 165 meters east of Village Gate Drive to the Town of Wasaga Beach Limit is scheduled to begin as early as Tuesday September 8th, 2026, weather permitting.

The works will include but not necessarily be limited to:

• Milling existing asphalt
• Excavation of gravel shoulders
• Cold In-Place Recycling of existing asphalt
• Placement of hot mix surface asphalt
• Restoration of gravel shoulders
• Line painting

Preliminary Layout
You may notice some utility locate identification along the road edges. Construction notice signs have been placed.

Roadway Cross-section
The road cross-section will consist of two 3.5 meter wide driving lanes and two 2.0 meter wide paved shoulders (11.0 meters of asphalt). The paved shoulders will provide improved refuge for pedestrian and bicycle movement and add improved safety for vehicles to pull over for emergency purposes.
