Notice of Application for Approval to Expropriate Land
In the matter of an application by the Town of Wasaga Beach for approval to expropriate land being:
· 10 Main Street, Wasaga Beach
for the purposes of economic development, to facilitate the implementation of the Downtown Community Improvement Plan and to support the creation of the Destination Wasaga Plan.
Notice is hereby given that application has been made for approval to expropriate all interests and ownership in the land legally described as follows:
Parcel 8-10, Section 51-360; Part Lot 21 on Plan 1458; Wasaga Beach, being Parts 2 to 6 on Plan 51R25988 & Part 1 on Plan 51R26124; Wasaga Beach
Any owner of land in respect of which notice is given who desires a hearing into whether the taking of such land is fair, sound and reasonably necessary in the achievement of the objectives of the expropriating authority shall so notify the approving authority in writing,
(a) In the case of a registered owner, served personally or by registered mail within thirty days after the registered owner is served with the notice, or, when the registered owner is served by publication, within thirty days after the first publication of the notice;
(b) In the case of an owner who is not a registered owner, within thirty days after the first publication of the notice.
