New women’s hockey, yoga, salsa, basketball and creative programs join returning favourites for residents of all ages
New Fall/Winter Recreation Guide Offers More Ways to Get Active in Wasaga Beach
WASAGA BEACH – Looking for something new to do this fall or winter? The Town of Wasaga Beach’s 2026/27 Fall/Winter Recreation Guide is now available, featuring new programs and returning favourites designed to keep residents active, learning and connected throughout the colder months.
With more than 90 unique programs and over 210 class times and sessions to choose from, the guide offers a wide range of registered and drop-in activities for children, youth, adults and older adults.
New registered programs this season include Yoga for Healthy Aging, Kids Creative Crafts, Women’s Learn to Play Hockey, Youth Girls Learn to Play Hockey, Salsa Dancing and Adult Basketball.
New drop-in opportunities include 55+ Hockey, Adult Pickleball and Seniors Active Living Centre Drop-In Karaoke, alongside popular returning programs such as line dancing, family and youth basketball, and a variety of skating programs.
Registration Dates
Wasaga Beach residents receive early access to fall/winter program registration:
- Resident registration opens: Wednesday, August 19 at 11 a.m.
- General registration opens: Wednesday, August 26 at 11 a.m.
Pickleball registration will open separately:
- Resident pickleball registration opens: Wednesday, September 2 at 11 a.m.
- General pickleball registration opens: Wednesday, September 9 at 11 a.m.
Residents are encouraged to ensure their online recreation account is active and their address information is up to date before registration opens.
Whether you want to learn a new sport, get moving, meet new people or find an activity for the kids, the Fall/Winter Recreation Guide offers options for a wide range of ages, interests and abilities.

Registration is available online through the Town’s recreation registration system or in person at the Wasaga Stars Arena and Wasaga Beach RecPlex.
