As of July 30, 2025, the Town of Wasaga Beach has implemented a Fire Ban. This will remain in place until sufficient rainfall occurs and the notice is removed from the Wasaga Beach Fire Department website.
During a Fire Ban, all outdoor burning of solid fuels is strictly prohibited — including campfires and bonfires (even if using chimeneas or similar enclosed devices)Fire bans are implemented to protect our community and reduce the risk of accidental fires. Anyone caught burning during a Fire Ban can be issued a $615.00 fine and held responsible for the full cost of fire department response.
