ADVISORY: Burton Cummings Concert Will Go Ahead As Planned Tonight

PUBLIC AND MEDIA ADVISORY: The show must go on. The Town of Wasaga Beach is confirming that tonight’s #BreakingtheIceFestival concert will go ahead as planned. Carefully considering the winter weather, the Town is asking all residents and visitors who will attend this evening's performance by Burton Cummings and his band, to plan ahead, leave early and arrive prepared:

• Choose a designated driver, and consider carpooling and using public transit that will run until midnight, or the Town’s free shuttle...

Family Day Town Hall Closure

Town Hall and Municipal Offices will be closed on Monday, February 19 for Family Day.

Family Day programming will be running at the new Wasaga Stars Arena and Wasaga Beach Public Library (544 River Road West).

Town Introduces Extended Evening Transit Service During Burton Cummings and Blue Rodeo Concerts

The Town of Wasaga Beach is introducing extended evening transit service and encouraging people to plan safe rides home from this weekend's Burton Cummings and Blue Rodeo concerts.

The Town is asking people to use designated drivers and consider carpooling or using public transit on Saturday, Feb 17 and Sunday Feb 18:

• Buses on Route 1 and Route 2 will operate with extended evening hours until midnight, both nights.  

• The Town is also offering a free shuttle service to move people to the shows from free...

Town of Wasaga Beach Will Stream Tonight's Performance of Love is in the Air, LIVE on Facebook

The Town of Wasaga Beach is inviting residents who did not get tickets to this evening's sold out show, to head over to Facebook at 7pm EST to watch iconic Olympic medalists Liz Manley and Elvis Stojko present their special Valentines Day production called “Love is in the Air”.

The live stream will begin at 7pm on the Town's tourism and special events Facebook page: Explore Wasaga Beach.

The iconic figure skaters will take over one of the Town’s new NHL-size ice pads and perform a Valentine’s Day...

Town releases new block of tickets for Burton Cummings and Blue Rodeo

The Town has released a new block of tickets for the Burton Cummings (February 17) and Blue Rodeo (February 18) concerts that will take place at the new Wasaga Stars Arena this weekend, as part of the Breaking the Ice Festival.
