Construction activities are on-going for the reconstruction of River Road West from Veterans Way to Blueberry Trail. Significant delays may be expected along River Road West and motorists are advised to use the alternate route (via Main Street and Mosley Street) as highlighted in yellow below. Electronic message boards and detour signage have been installed to advise and guide motorists.

The mandate of Build Wasaga will be to maximize value at the beachfront. This includes financial value (return on investment to the taxpayer) as well as enhancing place-making quality, which in turn will add value to surrounding lands and the broader community.

Notice: River Road West- Watermain Unforeseen Shutdown

LOCATION: River Road West, from 1388 to 1444 River Road West and 1395 to 1443 River Road West
Due to an unforeseen incident encountered by the contractor during today's scheduled maintenance on the watermain, the shutdown will remain in effect. We estimate that water service will be restored by 7:00 PM. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.
NOTICE OF CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITY: 62nd to 64th Mosley Street

This notice is to inform residents that commencing on Thursday April 25, 2024, until approximately Friday April 26, 2024, construction crews will be undertaking the repair of connections to the sanitary sewer. The area of work is on Mosley Street from 64th Street to 62nd Street. This work is in support of new home construction. Temporary traffic controls will be in place (see below), Intermittent Lane closures will occur. Motorists can expect delays resulting from this.
