Interview & Testing

We will contact selected candidates and invite them for an interview. In some instances, we may hold a second interview. Based on the nature of the position, this may include testing components, such as:

  • Written assignments
  • Skills testing
  • Technical knowledge assessment
  • Equipment or vehicle operation assessment

 

Employment Screening

Based on the nature of the position, screening may include

  • Education and certification verification
  • Police record checks
  • Employment references
  • Drivers abstract

Offer of Employment

After background screening, the successful candidate will receive an offer of employment outlining the agreement between the Town and the candidate.
