Oakview Woods

The Oakview Woods park features tennis courts, a large picnic and greenspace area including a gazebo, a dog park, bike park, and skate park. Additionally, Oakview Woods is the home of the Town's seasonal Outdoor Skating Rink, typically open from December through March weather dependent.

Once open for the season residents and visitors can use the rink at 1724 Mosley Street, beside the RecPlex, free of charge during regular hours of operation.

The hours of operation for pleasure skating are Tuesday and Friday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday from noon to 9 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 8 p.m.

The hours for shinny are Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., and weekends from 9 a.m. to noon.

Please note the facility will remain open throughout the day for public use, however, rink attendants will only be on-site during the above outlined hours.

The site includes a heated change room and washrooms.

Holiday hours (Christmas and New Year day): Outdoor Rink remains open as mentioned above, only washrooms or changing room remains unavailable during this time.
