Partners Dancing

Discover the feeling of moving gracefully around the dancefloor in sync with the music. Lean body and arm positioning, foot work and timing in this fun interactive class.

Thursday's March 28 – May 16
6:30 – 7:30 PM
$55 + HST/person


 

Tennis Lessons

Wednesday evening tennis instruction for all ages and levels of play! This program includes an introduction to the game, rules, stoke improvement and strategy for Adults.

Wednesday evenings at the RecPlex, Oakview Woods Tennis Courts (1724 Mosley St.)
Rain days will be rescheduled for the following Tuesday evening.

Session 1: June 5 – July 10
Session 2: July 17 - August 21

Adult Beginner                              7:00 – 8:00 pm
Adult Stroke and Strategy              8:00 – 9:00 pm
Fee: $79.10 per session


 

Karate

Karate is an excellent way to develop self-confidence and discipline. The Wado Kai program has been developed for individuals to progress through graduated skill based classes that promote physical fitness, flexibility and stamina. The Town of Wasaga Beach karate program has been recognized on a provincial and national level for the quality of students it produces. It is never to late to develop new skills and Karate could be the perfect program for you and your entire family to try.

Wasaga Beach Adult Team Sports (B.A.T.S.)

The B.A.T.S. program was funded by the province through the Sport and Recreation Community Fund through 2016 and 2018 and has grown to be an important part of the services offered by the Recreation, Events and Facilities department.  This program is in partnership with the Wasaga Beach YMCA and offers Adults in the area many opportunities to enjoy evening recreation options.

Free child care is offered through the Wasaga YMCA during the evenings of most Wasaga B.A.T.S. programs, parents can register for these programs and the child care through the YMCA.
