The Objective
Communication
We live in a world where there is access to all kinds of information. One of council's priorities this term is ensuring residents and visitors have access to municipal information that is timely, accurate, and trustworthy. The town strives to meet this objective every day using a variety of methods so that people can understand the issues and the decisions that are made. Wasaga Beach is moving forward on so many fronts and through regular updates we can keep everyone informed.
Events
Wasaga Beach has a long-standing tradition of presenting and supporting great memory-making events. These fun activities are for residents and visitors. Many of these events occur annually and are looked forward to with anticipation. These activities help foster our arts and entertainment scene and add value to overall community life. Continuing our reputation as a place for great events and family fun is a priority for council. The pandemic has made events challenging at times but where and when possible, safe activities take place.
Initiatives
Wasaga Beach takes a progressive approach when it comes to programs and initiatives. Residents can access a wide variety of options through various town departments. These programs and initiatives are a valuable part of community life in our town and council has identified their continuation as a priority this term.
