- Do you want to take on new challenges or develop new skills?
If so, we encourage you to apply for membership on any of the following:
Age Friendly Community Advisory Committee
The purpose of this Committee is to assist and guide the implementation and ongoing development of the Wasaga Beach Age-Friendly Community (AFC) Plan. Committee meetings are generally held monthly
Healthy Community Network Committee
Acts as a link between Council and the citizens of Wasaga Beach and to advise Council on matters relating to active and healthy living, the environment – natural, physical, social, economic – and the creation of a sustainable and healthy future for the Town. Committee meetings are held monthly
Advisory Committee on Tourism
Provides advice, comments and recommendations to Council on tourism services, activities and initiatives to promote the Municipality. Committee meetings are generally held monthly
Youth Advisory Committee
- adults and youth members (age 13-19)
Advises Town Council, local organizations and businesses on matters pertaining to youth. Committee meetings are generally held monthly

Committee Compositions and status may be subject to change. Committees will be undergoing a Terms of Reference review for the 2022-2026 term. All meetings are livestreamed. Virtual attendance is available.
Applications of interest will be received until Friday February 10, 2023 at 12:00 p.m.
Year-round availability is a requirement.
