This is an exciting time for recreation and culture in Wasaga Beach...
Town council has approved building a community hub facility in the new downtown.
Council determined a campus-style format is the best option for the hub; this means a cluster of buildings.
The plan is to build the hub on the south side of Main Street, in an area bound by Beck Street, Stonebridge Boulevard, and River Road West.
Construction will likely take place in phases.
A twin pad arena, library, cultural space, and other ancillary uses are planned as part of this ambitious project.
This is very much a work in progress.
