​Simcoe Muskoka Skilled Trades Expo ​​

The Simcoe Muskoka Skilled Trades Expo is an interactive, hands on experience, of the various skilled trades opportunities that are available through the Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program (OYAP).  This year's event will be Open to the Public from​ 5pm-7pm, and will feature a Skilled Trades Job Fair. The job fair and evening event is free to attend and all are welcome!

Employer Breakfast - Hiring​ Global Talent - May 23
The County of Simcoe Local Immigration Partnership is hosting an employer breakfast which will provide employers with opportunities to lean about federal immigration programs, as well as strategies to support and retain a diverse workforce. 

Official Launch - Tourism Destination Management Plan - May 28
The Town of Wasaga Beach is moving forward with the creation of a Tourism Destination Management Plan. The plan will guide future tourism development in a cohesive and strategic manner, and align efforts with other local, county, and provincial  initiatives over the next three to five years. Ultimately, the goal is to increase the number of visitors to Wasaga Beach, have them stay longer and contribute more to the local economy.
