Promote economic development and growth in the residential, commercial and service sectors

To work with the public and private sector groups to promote economic development focusing on business attraction and retention

To initiate economic development projects and prepare activity reports, draft budgets, policies and related research and analysis

To communicate with the province, private agencies and the general public regarding economic development and associated land use proposals, tourism and other related matters

To work with staff at all level of governments for marketing alliances and research opportunities including local area EDO partnerships

To work with local developers to actively promote their sites to attract new businesses

To develop marketing and promotional materials to attract businesses

To coordinate doctor recruitment activities including applying for underserviced status and other government programs

To actively market and promote the Beach Area 2 Beachfront Resort property

To represent the Town of Wasaga Beach at Provincial, Industry and other Business Groups, Committees and associations, as required
