• -develop long range planning and development goals and objectives

• -implementation of Comprehensive Zoning By-law
• -Zoning By-law, Official Plan and Planning Act consultation and public inquiries
• -update and review development and land use regulations and policies
• -review and processing of Zoning By-law and Official Plan amendments, minor variance and severance applications, building permits for zoning compliance and plans of subdivision and condominium
• -responsible for exceptions to part lot control, deeming by-laws and validations of title
