Visioning Project
Beach Area 1 & 2
The Town has retained a consulting project team to develop and conduct a visioning exercise for Beach Area One and Two. The purpose of the exercise is to develop a long-term vision for the future of the main tourist beach area in Wasaga Beach.
In order to provide opportunity for residents to be engaged with the project, the Town has hosted two community meetings and invited all residents to attend. Additionally, a survey was created for residents, business owners and visitors to Wasaga Beach to complete and provide feedback.

To view how the Beach Area One and Two lands could potentially look in the future, please click the following links. It is important to note and understand that these preliminary visioning directions are suggested options and have been created based on an extensive public consultation initiative undertaken by the consulting team. They are not development plans; they are potential visions of what the area could look like based on public-private partnerships. This will assist Council as they continue to market the Beach Area 2 lands to potential developers and provide a clear picture of the type of development that is of interest to our community.
